Lake Cadillac Pond Hockey - January 27 - 29

The Cadillac Area Hockey Association (CAHA) and Labatt Blue welcomes you to our Winter Wonderland for the 2nd Lake Cadillac Pond Hockey Classic. That's right, this fun, exciting hockey weekend will take place right on picturesque Lake Cadillac, just moments away from beautiful Downtown Cadillac and many other wonderful Cadillac area businesses and destinations. North American Snow Festival - February 2 - 5

New in 2012, Downtown Cadillac offers Downtown NASF Raffle Mania, offering over 100 door prizes to NASF Raffle Button holders throughout the weekend.  Buy a NASF button and come downtown Friday – Sunday to find your button number listed on a NASF Raffle Mania flyer hung at participating stores.  If you're number is listed, you are a winner at that business.  Check back here for a list of participating stores posted after January 1. 

NASF kicks off Thursday February 2 with Family Night, including the Chili Cook-off and Miss NASF pageant at the Cadillac Armory.  Friday includes the Fun Run throughout the day and entertainment/ beverages at the Armory Friday evening.  Saturday includes the majority of the events:  Lake Races, Antique Snowmobile Show, and other contests.  New this year NASF Raffle will give away $5000 in cash prizes. Trail of Tales - March 9 - 17

A Storytellers festival combining the talents of writers of books, music, videos, poets and movies to celebrate the tales of our real and fairytale lives. This event kicks off on Friday, March 9 in Downtown Cadillac Stores, The Wexford Public Library and theater offering exhibit area to showcase the Storytellers. This will continue thru the week to a grand finale on Saturday, March 17 where the storytellers will be on site to meet, greet and perform. The library and schools will offer various programs throughout the week, please check back here for more details closer to the event. On Saturday, March 19 you will be able to travel the Trail of Tales with a passport to celebrate Storytelling.  Come join us in showcasing local book authors, musicians, videographers, poets and the various ways storytellers celebrate literacy every day. This event supports March as National Literacy & Reading Month.

About the Artists, Where they'll be, How to Contact Them and more Art is Blooming in Downtown Cadillac. Various Cadillac Area Artists are showcasing their talents in Downtown Cadillac Businesses. Art will be on display from May 1 - 226 in downtown stores. The 3rd Annual Art & Wine Showcase is on May 17th, from 6 - 10pm (location to be determined). Meet with Showcase Artists, buy their art, enjoy the historic landmark, tantalize your taste buds with wine and mingle with fellow art & history enthusiasts. Tickets are $25 per person, see Brinks Art & Framing & The Shay Station for tickets. ‘Meet the Artist' on May 26th, (Memorial Day Weekend) from 10am - 4pm throughout downtown Cadillac stores - artists on-site and in the stores to meet, discuss and sell their art. We will host additional art booths on Harris Street.   • The Cadillac Arts Council organizations entertain the crowds - starting Friday evening with the Taste of Cadillac food booths. There is music and entertainment of all kinds during the evening on Friday and all day long at the Rotary Arts Pavilion next to beautiful Lake Cadillac. Cadillac Festival of Races - Labor Day

  • 2010 marks the 39th running of the “Cadillac Festival of Races”, the longest continually held 10k race in Michigan. In the past the race has served as the State Championship race for the Road Runners of America, Michigan chapter. Fall Fever Festival - September 22nd - 23rd

Celebrate fall in downtown Cadillac, family fun activities in-store, on Harris Street, Lake Street and various locations throughout town. Downtown Cadillac Storybook Christmas - November 23-24, 2012

Click here for flyer...Downtown Cadillac bustles with activities starting Friday evening (November 23), in the City Park with carols at 5:30pm, Mrs. Claus reads this year's Storybook (Polar Express) & live entertainment on stage, then as the sun sets, the lighting of the lakefront (1.5 miles) at 6:00 then welcomes the arrival of Santa by boat to the City Park docks around 6:15, he is welcomed by the Mayor and children, who walk him to the Light Lever where he helps the Mayor light the Community Christmas Tree at 6:30. Santa then greets and listens to the children until 8pm and retires to the North Pole to feed the reindeer. Saturday (November 24), Santa arrives at 10am Saturday downtown to receive children until 4pm.


Downtown businesses host Holiday Open House activities, door prize drawings, specials and entertainment throughout the day from 10am – 4pm, many stores downtown will be open after 5pm to assist Holiday shoppers.

Garden Club's Home Tour Saturday - First Weekend in December

The 12th Annual Holiday Home Tour – Cadillac, Michigan. Cadillac Garden Club presents their 12th annual Holiday Home Tour. Between the hours of 10:00 am and 3:00 pm, the public is invited to visit four beautifully decorated area homes. Free refreshments. Advance tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased at Brinks Art and Frame Shop, 112 S. Mitchell St., downtown Cadillac. $15.00 day of tour.
